Sustainable Planning and Transport

This course is designed for those who wish to study planning for sustainability and gives the skills needed for careers in planning, urban design, strategic policy making and travel planning as well as for further research. There is a focus on the role of planning in addressing key sustainability concerns: climate change; urban sprawl; social cohesion; and demands for personal mobility. Students learn how to use appropriate tools, techniques and technologies. There are UK and international field trips.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree or equivalent. Applicants with other qualifications and relevant experience will be considered individually by the programme tutor. if English is not the 1st language an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is required.
