Dermatology Skills and Treatment

This programme offers the opportunity for generalist clinicians to develop more specialist dermatology knowledge. However, the programme is sufficiently robust for clinicians already working in this speciality to update and enhance their knowledge and skills.

Entry requirements

Applicants will normally have: completed a relevant university degree & have a recognised professional qualification; 2 years general post qualifying clinical experience (excluding internship) and additionally 1 year in a substantive speciality post in clinical dermatology; current clinical experience of a minimum of 1 year in a clinical setting with access to patients with chronic skin conditions; references will be required to confirm specialist dermatology experience; all students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. A minimum IELTS 6.5 is required with no less than 6.0 in each band.
