Biological and Neural Computation
Research areas include: numerical evolution of multicellular genetic regulatory networks with simple pre-defined functionality; modelling and stochastic simulation of molecular interaction networks; development of SBML, a standard XML-based language for the storage and exchange of biochemical network models; development of algorithms for identification of promoter binding sites; associative memory and information processing in the cerebellum; associative memory models of the mammalian cortex, modelling of the dopamine system; visual categorisation.
Good Honours degree in the study area; relevant work experience.
