The course comprises an introduction to research methods (which will include consideration of current issues in accounting and finance) and a dissertation. The research methods module must be completed before undertaking the dissertation. Dissertations are normally submitted for assessment within 1 year.

Entry requirements

PART-TIME: Normally the specific entry requirement for this course is that an applicant must hold an appropriate professional qualification from one of the main accountancy professional bodies (e.g. ACCA, AIA, CAI, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAS, or equivalent). Entrants must have at least passed all the examinations of the professional body.
