International Hospitality Management

For information regarding fees please contact the University direct. The course aims to provide students with a detailed knowledge of the international hospitality industry. Students learn how to make appropriate judgements concerning strategic and operational challenges facing international hospitality businesses and learn to devise and implement relevant strategies to address these challenges.

Entry requirements

A good 1st degree (2.2 Honours or above) in hospitality management, tourism, business, management or a related discipline.
If you have an appropriate professional qualification or work experience you will be considered on an individual basis.
If English is not your 1st language, you are expected to demonstrate English language ability at a level equivalent to IELTs 6.0 before commencing your studies.

Course modules

Modules: management of international hospitality organisations; hospitality operational analysis and planning; strategic management for the international hospitality industry; international tourism; international marketing; international human resource management; research methods for international hospitality; international hospitality dissertation.

Assessment methods

Essay, report, group assignment, individual assignment, dissertation.
