This course covers the core areas of business including marketing; finance; operations; people management; and strategy. There is also a range of options available to tailor study towards specific areas of interest.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree (2.2 or above) in any subject or an equivalent professional qualification. Applicants with relevant work experience and academic potential are encouraged to apply. If English is the 2nd language, applicants are expected to demonstrate English language ability at a level equivalent to IELTs 6.0 (TOEFL 550 or Computer Based 213) before commencing studies.

Course modules

Core modules. Term 1: marketing management; finance for managers; introduction to project management. Term 2: strategic management; the human element of project management; research methods and techniques. Students also have a choice of 2 option modules from: international marketing; international trade operations; international human resource management; public relations and sponsorship management; the human element of project management; principles of risk.

Assessment methods

All teaching and assessment is grounded in real-life situations and, where possible, live projects are incorporated into the teaching.
