Commercial Law

The course is aimed at students who want to specialise in commercial legal practice and aspire to senior positions in business.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree in Law, a related degree or equivalent. If the 1st degree is not in Law students are required to take the Introduction to Law module. If English is not the 1st language an IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component is required. Students with a score of 5.5 may enrol after successful completion of the University�s pre-sessional course.

Course modules

Modules include: introduction to law; legal research methods; private international law; commercial law; dissertation. option modules: global intellectual property rights; the law and practice of international trade; corporate responsibility & governance; employment law; other business related options are also available.
