Sustainable Architecture

For information regarding fees please contact the University direct. This course considers the full range of issues associated with sustainable architecture including energy consumption; use of materials; health; assessment methods and environment concerns.

Entry requirements

An undergraduate degree in built environment discipline (2.2 or above). Relevant practical experience preferred but not essential. Direct entry without 1st degree may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Course modules

Core modules sustainable and bioclimatic design; environmental impacts of buildings and urban development; advanced construction and building analysis; research methods; major project. Optional modules you will choose one from a list which may include: BIM at the project level: collaborative approaches or communities engagement for social innovation.

Assessment methods

Modules are assessed by a combination of written reports, presentations and design work.
