This course considers the full range of issues associated with sustainable architecture including energy consumption; use of materials; health; assessment methods and environment concerns.
Honours degree in built environment discipline (2.2 or above) preferably with relevant practical experience. Direct entry without 1st degree may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Core modules: sustainable and bioclimatic design; environmental impacts of buildings and urban development; advanced construction and building analysis; research methods; major project. Optional BIM at the project level: Collaborative approaches or communities engagement for social innovation.
Modules are assessed by a combination of written reports, presentations and examinations.
