Professional Practice and Management in Architecture (RIBA part 3)
The application of skill and knowledge at a professional level in the practice of architecture, in today's society, forms the central focus of the course. At the final stage in qualification as an architect students are able to examine their obligations and responsibilities, and demonstrate their competence, professional awareness, knowledge and ability in the contexts of architectural practice, the management of architecture, the management of construction, the procurement of buildings, architectural practice management, and building legislation.
Entrants to this RIBA part 3 award must first gain (or obtain exemption from) the RIBA part 1 and part 2 Examinations in Architecture and must complete a period of 24 months professional training (recorded with the RIBA PEDR) before they sit the final examination.
Modules include: Professional practice; management in architecture.
