The programme will cover the following key themes: urban infrastructure; planning policy; conservation; sustainability; climate change; the civic realm; transportation; managing population change; globalisation.
A 2.2 Honours degree or above in an appropriate subject or equivalent.Alternative qualifications and/or significant experience may be accepted, subject to approval. International students must provide evidence of proficiency in English. International students with qualifications in 'creative' or �practice' subjects should submit a portfolio of work with their application.Interview will be by portfolio of practice based and/or theoretical work and a statement of intent.
Core modules: Integrated urban design and architecture; theory, history and emerging urban trends; advanced urban design planning and development; research methods; major project. Optional modules: Environmental impacts of buildings and urban development; communities engagement for social innovation.
Assessment is through a combination of written reports, presentations and examinations.
