The course offers continuing or recent graduates from creative design degree programmes an opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills, creativity and employment prospects through exploring digital media platforms and processes.
An Honours degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent with a 2.2 or above. Alternative qualifications and/or significant experience may be accepted, subject to approval. International students must provide evidence of proficiency in English. If below the required level students may be able to take one of the pre-sessional English courses. International students with qualifications in 'creative' or �practice' subjects should submit a portfolio of work with their application. All suitably qualified applicants are normally interviewed or considered for admittance under alternative arrangements. Interview will be by portfolio of practice based and/or theoretical work and a statement of intent. Applications from graduates with experience in creative relevant design practices such as industrial, product, automotive, transport, architecture, interior, graphics, animation or similar are invited to apply. All other applications will be considered on an individual basis.
Modules include: research methods and project proposal; digital media concepts; creative innovation; digital media processes; major project.
Assessment is based on a combination of the production and critique of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional portfolio work and presentations, culminating in an exhibition of work.
