A good Honours degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent with a 2.2 or above. Alternative qualifications and/or significant experience may be accepted, subject to approval. For applicants whose 1st language or language of instruction is not English you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English language qualification. The minimum of IELTS 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, will be considered acceptable, or equivalent. International students with qualifications in 'creative' or 'practice' subjects should submit a portfolio of work with their application. All suitably qualified applicants are normally invited in for an informal chat with a portfolio or considered for admittance under alternative arrangements, such as a skype chat.
Modules include: Research methods and project proposal; digital media concepts; creative innovation and entrepreneurship; digital media processes; major project.
Teaching strategies include lectures, tutorials and workshops. Modules are assessed on a combination of the production and critique of portfolio work and presentations.
