Oil and Gas Engineering with Management

The course seeks to provide a sound education in areas of oil and gas engineering through an integrated and co-ordinated programme.

Entry requirements

A good honours degree from a recognised educational establishment, or a professional qualification recognised as being equivalent to an honours degree in the following subjects or a closely related appropriate science subject area: Mechanical Engineering; Manufacturing Engineering; Engineering Systems; Electrical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Petroleum Engineering. Other qualifications or experience, which demonstrate that a candidate possesses appropriate knowledge and skills at honours degree standard may be acceptable and will be considered on an individual basis. International Students � English language skill equivalent to IELTS 6.0, with no individual element lower than 5.5.

Course modules

The following modules are covered: fundamentals of oil and gas engineering; computer aided analysis of turbo-machines; professional development and research methods; multiphase flows; project management; enhanced oil recovery; communications for oil and gas engineering; individual project; finance for managers.
