Our Mechanical Engineering MSc has employability at its heart and gives you the opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge, comprehension and understanding of theoretical and practical applications of mechanical engineering, including a critical awareness of current issues and developments. This programme has been developed to provide a top-up for graduates who have completed a BEng in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.

Entry requirements

A minimum 2:1 Honours degree in an engineering or related discipline, but less well-qualified applicants with relevant industrial experience may be considered. International applicants - Competence in English is required for international students. For example: IELTS with 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each skill; previous study in English is accepted; candidates that do not meet the language requirements may take an English course at the University of Hull prior to entering the programme.
