This MSc programme will enable you to develop a deep understanding of the marketing manager�s role in a truly international environment. Students enhance their ability to function as part of a project team, developing the critical skills which underpin strategic decision making � in areas including market research, digital marketing, international marketing and global trade. Our unique, holistic approach to marketing will help you achieve an organisation�s short-term objectives and long-term goals. You will be introduced to the main theories and perspectives of marketing, and to their value and limitations in use. The programme also explores the role of marketing within the organisation and how different national contexts may impact what we think of as universal marketing principles.
A minimum 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent. Competence in English is required for International students. For example: IELTS with 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each skill; previous study in English is accepted; candidates that do not meet the language requirements may take an English course at the University of Hull prior to entering the programme.
You will study subjects such as: holistic marketing � balancing the needs of the environment and society; digitised marketing concepts in the national and international context; market research; digital marketing; international marketing and global trade.As with many of our programmes, you will also study professional skills and ethics, research methods and undertake a dissertation.
