Advertising and Marketing
The programme is designed for graduates from any discipline with a strong interest in the principles and practices of advertising and marketing. However, we do recommend that you have a basic knowledge and understanding of this area or business studies. You will have a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent, one academic reference and a good command of English.
International students - Competence in English is required for international students. For example: IELTS with 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each skill; previous study in English is accepted; candidates that do not meet the language requirements may take an English course at the University of Hull prior to entering the programme.
Advertising and media; public relations and organisational communications; principles of marketing management;integrated marketing communications; international marketing; buyer behaviour. Students also study professional skills and ethics, research methods and undertake a dissertation.
