Economics and Business
This conversion programme is designed for graduates from any discipline keen to acquire understanding and skills in business economics. You will have a minumum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent, be comfortable with quantitative approaches, and have a good command of English.; International applicants - Competence in English is required for international students. For example: IELTS with 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each skill; previous study in English is accepted; candidates that do not meet the language requirements may take an English course at the University of Hull prior to entering the programme.
You will study subjects such as:;
economics for business;
statistical analysis of economic data;
the international business context;
regulation of competition, trade and industry;
current issues in business economics;
There's also an optional module which, typically, allows you to strengthen your understanding of an aspect of business, such as business strategy, corporate social responsibility, or money and banking.;
As with many of our programmes, you will also study research methods and ethics, and undertake a dissertation
