Professional Practice (Teaching and Learning)

This programme is for qualified teachers who want to develop and enhance their practice at postgraduate level. The programme offers students the opportunity to attain academic recognition for the skills, knowledge and experience that they have developed in the workplace whilst focusing on a specific area of practice relevant to their work and enhance career progression.

Entry requirements

Applicants are required to have a minimum of 2 years' professional experience and hold an undergraduate degree, in addition to a teaching qualification. Accreditation of prior learning may be available.

Course modules

Modules include: Evidence Based Practice; learning and development; inter-professional working; research skills; addressing barriers to learning; a thinking school: transforming learning.
