International Relations with International Law

This programme is based on a recognition of the need to allow each discipline to be informed by the other, and covers the general methods, scope and theories of international relations and international law. The objective of the programme is to develop a critical consideration of traditional approaches to the discipline of international relations. In post-Cold War globalisation, there is an increasingly apparent need for ever-more sophisticated ways of understanding the dramatic changes taking place. At the same time, this programme allows you to consider the role, potential and limitations of public international law in international affairs.
