Political Theory and Practices of Resistance

This programme explores the theme of resistance in political theory. It examines how this theme has featured in the history of political ideas from Plato to Badiou. It also investigates past and present practices of resistance in a wide range of activities including art, film, poetry and fiction.

Entry requirements

A 1st or upper 2nd class Honours degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent. Please also check our website for general entry requirements (including English language requirements).

Assessment methods

Assessment is by coursework plus the dissertation.
