The programme brings together aspects of psychological research in applied, social, and organisational psychology modules, together with business modules on organisational behaviour and people management.
At minimum, an upper 2nd Class undergraduate degree or equivalent. The undergraduate degree will either be from psychology, management sciences, or a related psychology discipline.
Modules include: Organisational psychology: methods and statistics; entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity; social and applied psychology 2; psychology of selection and assessment; and a research apprenticeship. Optional modules: groups and teams in organisations; extended literature review: applying psychology to an organisational issue; leadership and management; learning and development; managing diversity and equal opportunities; employment relations; and employee resourcing.
Assessment methods will include essays, seminar contributions, examinations, presentations, and the dissertation.
