Corporate Financial Management

The MSc in Corporate Financial Management provides a postgraduate award with a strong focus on employability. It is aimed at graduates who have an interest in developing an in depth specialist knowledge and a critical understanding of the key aspects of corporate financial management, and in particular, who are looking to pursue, advance or switch to a career in corporate or business finance. The master's programme is designed so that you can complete your course in a 12 month period. You will develop a broad comprehension of the most important concepts in finance with a strategic perspective in a global context. You will apply theoretical concepts and finance models to real life case studies, in a practice based environment. Entry requirements

2.2 or above from a UK Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualifications. International entry requirements - an English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.

Assessment methods

Assessment is designed to meet the programme and module learning outcomes both academically and professionally in formative form including the preparation and feedback from seminars, workshops, tests and presentations, as well as in summative assessment that contributes to the grade, including assignment, group work/studies, project and exam. In particular, as is usual in the sector, this programme involves a considerable amount of group work and group assessment.
