Professional Language and Intercultural Studies

This is a professional training programme that aims to equip students for a wide range of international careers; it offers a unique combination of intercultural studies with the study of language for professional purposes; through the variety of optional choices available, the programme can be tailored to the student's individual interests.

Entry requirements

A good 1st degree (Honours 2.1 or above), including the study of 1 or more foreign language(s) throughout; no background experience of intercultural studies necessary; equivalent qualifications/professional experience with foreign languages are considered; IELTS an overall score of at least 6.5 (with not less than 6.0 in all components).

Course modules

Modules include: Professional language; intercultural studies; managing business across cultures; introduction to interpreting skills.
