Conference Interpreting and Translation Studies (Bidirectional)

Students undertake professional training in bidirectional interpreting, working both ways between your mother tongue and your other active working language. Intensive 'hands-on' teaching of interpreting is geared to international practice and includes a high level of input from practising professional conference interpreters.

Entry requirements

Good undergraduate degree (2.1 Honours or above, or the equivalent) and an excellent command of 1 or more foreign languages. Exceptionally, candidates with equivalent qualifications or experience will be considered. For non-native English speakers, an overall IELTS score of at least 7.0 (with not less than 7.5 in speaking and listening and 6.5 in reading and writing) is required.
