The course provides training suitable for further PhD study or employment and covers a range of specialist taught modules, core research and professional development training modules combined with an extended individual practical project; students may select from a broad range of specialist taught modules including biotechnology, plant science, infection and immunity, human genetics, bioinformatics and computational biology.
A 2.1 honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, but relevant experience may be taken into account. GCSE English language grade C (or above) or an equivalent recognised English language qualification e.g. IELTS: 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
