Neuroscience

Research in the area of neuroscience includes investigations extending from individual proteins and genes (for example proteases, receptors and ion channels) and the interactions between such proteins, to signalling within and synaptic communication between neurones, right up to neural networks and in vivo readouts of nervous activity.

Entry requirements

A Bachelor's degree with a 2.1 or above in a relevant subject; applicants with a 2.2 and a Master's degree at merit or higher will also be eligible. GCSE English language grade C (or above) or an equivalent recognised English language qualification e.g. IELTS: 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
