Cardiac Function in Health and Disease

Myocardial function and dysfunction is studied using a range of techniques including in vivo telemetry, optical imaging of perfused hearts, single cell electrophysiology, confocal microscopy and molecular approaches to understanding gene transcription and expression.

Entry requirements

A Bachelor's degree with a 2.1 or above in a relevant subject. Applicants with a 2.2 and a Master's degree at merit or higher will also be eligible. GCSE English language grade C (or above) or an equivalent recognised English language qualification e.g. IELTS 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
