Advertising and Marketing
A combination of academic study with practical hand-on approach gives you the skills employers are looking for. Designed to cover core marketing elements, with a specialist focus on advertising and marketing communications, this course will give you with the practical skills you need for a career in marketing. It is taught by staff with extensive corporate experience meaning you get skills and knowledge directly relevant to the workplace.
A good UK Bachelor's degree (minimum 2.1) or equivalent qualification in a subject other than marketing. If English is not your 1st language, you will need either TOEFL iBT at least 92 overall (with a minimum of 21 in listening, 21 in reading, 23 in speaking and 22 in writing) or IELTS with an overall score of 6.5 (with 6 or more in each section).
Core modules: Consumer behaviour; marketing communications; global strategic marketing; media planning and strategy; public relations and corporate communications; advertising; professional skills and employability; marketing research. Compulsory: Consultancy project or dissertation. Optional modules: Brand management and corporate identity; sales promotion and sponsorship; social media marketing; direct, digital and interactive marketing.
There are a number of part fee scholarships available for UK, EU and international students.
