Finance and Investment
Students study credit, banking and financial services. Students are also able to choose from 2 routes of study, the dissertation route will prepare them for further postgraduate research, the other will prepare them for employment.
You should have a good 1st degree (2.1 or higher) in a relevant subject such as accounting, finance, mathematics or engineering. Students are expected to have a strong grounding in quantitative subjects with high scores in these subjects. If English is not your 1st language you need to attain an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with 6 or more in each section), or TOEFL iBT equivalent.
Modules include: Security investment analysis; corporate finance; international business finance; applied finance; research methods in finance; financial modelling and analysis; international investment; critical skills for the finance professional; dissertation.
There are a number of part fee scholarships available for UK, EU and international students.
