This course provides you with broad-ranging management knowledge and skills alongside critical insight into how organisations operate. Designed to give a comprehensive introduction to all the major management disciplines, you will develop essential skills including critical thinking, problem-solving and collaborative working. You will gain the hands-on practical experience that employers are looking for through real-world business projects and case studies. The dissertation allows students to customise their studies through an in-depth project on a specific topic.
You should have a good 1st degree (2.1 or higher) or equivalent qualification, in any subject. If English is not your 1st language you need to have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with 6 or more in each section), or TOEFL iBT equivalent.
Modules include: Accounting for managers; entrepreneurship and enterprise creation; marketing for management; effective decision making; behaviour in organisations; strategic management; management in practice; operations and supply chain management; research design and analysis; dissertation. Optional modules include: Human resource management (an international perspective); creative industries management; managing change; information tools for organisations.
There are a number of part fee scholarships available for UK, EU and international students.
