International Social Transformation
An Honours degree (2.1 or 1st Class) in a social science discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification; relevant experience is taken into account where appropriate; candidates who have narrowly missed securing a 2.1 result may be considered on their merits.
Compulsory modules: Contemporary social thought; globalisation and international development; international social transformation dissertation. Optional modules: Research strategy and design; qualitative research methods; 'race', identity and culture in the black Atlantic; critical theory; liquid sociology; evaluation research; from conception to the grave (health in a global context).
