Petroleum Production Engineering

This programme will provide you with the advanced knowledge and skills to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry. You will study modules covering core topics related to the downstream activities of the industry including drilling and production technology, oilfield chemistry and corrosion, and chemical reaction processes. Also an option to take modules in topics such as separation processes, process optimisation and control, and multi-scale modelling and simulation.

Entry requirements

A Bachelor's degree with a 2.2 (Honours) in chemical engineering or a related engineering or science discipline. English language requirement: GCSE English Language grade C (or above) or an equivalent recognised English language qualification e.g. IELTS: 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
