Environmental Water Consultancy

The only course in the world that offers training in environmental water management with a specific focus on consultancy. This course delivers highly practical business-focused training to prepare graduates for a role in water consultancy. You will develop an understanding of the policy underpinning environmental water management and detailed knowledge and investigation of hydrological processes. Learn how to interpret a client�s needs and formulate a contract for delivery of consultancy work. Manage a consultancy project from inception to completion. Learn technical and communication skills vital for a successful career in water consultancy - key contacts in the water sector essential for networking. You will also complete a dissertation where you get the opportunity to lead your own project, and you will have the choice of a variety of modules, including the chance to undertake a work based project. This will give you a clear insight into how businesses operate, enabling you to apply your expert knowledge of project management.

Entry requirements

Our normal minimum requirement is an upper 2nd class Honours degree or equivalent in geography or geology, earth sciences, environmental science, environmental management, chemistry, biology or related disciplines. However, many candidates are still in their final year of undergraduate study when they 1sr apply, in which case we take note of what your academic referee's assessment of your abilities. We recruit those with good 1st degrees in related subjects such as environmental sciences and ecological sciences.
