Clinical Psychology

This programme trains clinical psychologists as reflective scientist-practitioners with clinical and research skills. It has an emphasis on theory practice links, and the ability to reflect on and critically appraise the academic literature and our own clinical practice.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree or 1st in psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society as meeting graduate basis for registration; minimum of 12 months of full-time relevant experience (e.g. research, NHS, social services, voluntary sector).

Assessment methods

Clinical practice placements, essays, problem based learning exercise, systematic case study, service evaluation project, research thesis.
