University of Leeds
The Health Economics MSc introduces you to the way in which microeconomic principles and concepts can be applied to the analysis of decisions by consumers, firms and governments about health and healthcare. The programme offers broad training in health economics. You study modules from the Health Economics unit in the Institute of Sciences, as well as from the University's Business School and Institute of Transport Studies, giving you chance to benefit from a range of expertise. Trained and skilled health economists are in demand as the requirement for more advanced and expensive healthcare puts pressure on policy decisions.
