Research interests in many areas, including: Child dental health: dental epidemiology, community dentistry, orthodontics, preventive dentistry; dental surgery; oral biology: mineralised tissues (e.g., calcification, bone remodelling, dental caries, mechanisms of fluoride action), structure, function and pathology of periodontal tissues; restorative dentistry: conservation, endodontics, periodontology, prosthetics.

Entry requirements

1st degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject.

Course modules

Research areas: Biomaterials; biomineralisation; craniofacial biology; dental public health; oral and maxillofacial surgery; oral microbiology; orthodontics; paediatric dentistry; restorative dentistry; tissue engineering.
