Complex Care Pathways in Midwifery

The course focuses upon developing midwives education, practice and leadership skills to provide complex care pathways for women with complex pregnancies; students study the provision of midwifery care for a woman and her family by way of developing knowledge and understanding at a postgraduate level.

Entry requirements

Registered on the Midwifery part of the professional register maintained by the NMC; and normally an Honours degree (2.1) in midwifery or a relevant health discipline; or midwives require evidence of capability to work at Master's level (a portfolio or credits achieved on a recognised module of study); or other midwives considered on individual merit; clinical practice placement required for some modules.
