A 1st or 2.1 science degree or equivalent allied with a related medical discipline, for example anatomy, biology, biochemestry, pharmacology or biomedical science. Students who completed 3 years of a UK medical degree and are ranked in the top 50 percent of year 3 are eligible to intercalate into our programme. All students whose 1st language is not English must have an overall IELTS grade of 7.0 with at least 6.0 in writing and 6.5 in every other skill.
Compulsory modules: Paper criticism; research project in medicine. Optional modules: Capturing and handling data in research; health research methods; intervention research; analytic research; core epidemiology; professional spine.
