This programme takes an emphasis on public policy in order to ensure that graduates are in a good position to take on the role of public health leader; it provides (through cross institute working) a range of population health modules, which reflect local, national and international need.
Normally a good 1st degree (minimum accepted 2nd Class Honours, 2nd division; 2.2); graduates with limited or no work experience in a health related area would be expected to have achieved a 2nd Class Honours, 1st division; 2.1 or above; graduates with a medical or dental degree are encouraged to apply, as are non-graduates with appropriate work experience (3 to 5 years) and/or a professional qualification. For applicants whose first language is not English, IELTS 7.0 with no components less than 6.5 or equivalent.
