Mediated Governance

Research at the school of media and communication is centred on: Mediated governance (the increasingly central role of mediated communication in political life); the communication of governance; relationships between media and governance; the study of international and global communications in their cultural, political, military, economic and social dimensions; the analysis of media production as a central aspect of contemporary and historical communication.

Entry requirements

1st Class or at least a good upper 2nd Class degree. A Master's degree is not required, but applications are seen more favourably with 1; applicants should ideally have achieved a distinction or at least a merit, especially in their dissertation. IELTS score 6.5 (with not less than 6.0 in any skill area).
