A 2.1 Honours degree in relevant subject or approved professional qualifications.
Core modules: understanding crime; criminological research methods; 4 week practice placement; dissertation. Plus 3 option modules from a wide range.
Students will be taught through a combination of lectures and seminars where they will have the opportunity to discuss and clarify ideas with lecturers and fellow students. Some modules will also involve practical skills workshops. The degree is assessed entirely by coursework, including essays, short written assessments, research tasks, placement reports and oral presentations. Students will also complete a dissertation of up to 15,000 words.
