The growth in importance of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) (the software tools) and GI science (the technical discipline) within sustainable natural resource management has led to an increasing demand for relevant GIS skills amongst trained natural resource managers. This postgraduate degree will provide you with detailed training in the techniques of GIS analysis, with particular reference to the sustainable management of natural resources and application of GIS to resource management. You will learn the techniques involved in the creation, collection, storage, processing, modelling, interpretation, display and dissemination of data and information about the environment.
