The course is suitable for teachers, lecturers and educational leaders in educational settings; applicants study and reflect upon their own practice and issues related to leadership, learning and change.
Normally a minimum of 3 years teaching and or lecturing experience plus either an Honours degree or its equivalent or UK Qualified Teacher Status or its equivalent.
Modules include: Educational leadership, learning and change; external influences on educational leadership; organisational effectiveness, improvement and transformation; research methods; dissertation.
Each module is assessed by a 4000-5000 word assignment; the dissertation is a 15000-20000 word study.
