Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management
Students study the theory and practice of risk management; students design, conduct and critically appraise research and develop new approaches to problem solving.
1st or 2nd Class Honours degree or an acceptable equivalent professional qualification; special consideration is given to applications from people with relevant work experience and knowledge.
Modules include: theories of risk and crisis; managing risk and crisis; research methods in the study of risk, crisis and disaster management; case studies of crises and disasters; models of risk, crisis and disaster; risk, crisis and disaster management.
