This course provides attendees with a clear idea of what leadership is and involves and provides a valuable opportunity to develop a useful, practical framework for understanding what effective leaders actually do. Participants learn how to balance the priorities of achieving results, effectively building team cohesion and developing and motivating the individuals within the student's team. Being evidence based and dynamic, this participative event focuses on the vital issues of engagement and motivation within the student's team.
Possession of a UK Honours degree or its overseas equivalent or an acceptable professional qualification; 3 years relevant managerial or supervisory work experience; where English is not the native language/language of instruction: IELTS 6.5; or TOEFL 90; or The University of Leicester English language test.
The course is assessed by a practice based assignment. In addition to the development of key skills and acquiring new knowledge, successfully completing the course provides students with 15 Master's level credits of study and a Confirmation of Completion.
