Art, Architecture and Design
This is a flexible programme of formal research training, providing a systematic introduction to a wide range of research skills and competencies. The course equips students with the ability to manage a complex research project while demonstrating initiative and self-reliance in pursuing research goals. It supports many different kinds of research in art, architecture and design.
Applicants should possess a good Honours degree in an art, architecture or design subject (or an equivalent qualification).
Modules include: Research philosophy, context and strategy; research design and management; research applications; research analysis and interpretation; research study.
Assessment methods include verbal presentations, written assignments and/or the presentation of art and design work.
All UK or EU students who hold a First or Upper Second Class Honours degree from another institution will receive a 20% reduction in tuition fees when they enrol on a University of Lincoln taught Master's programme. The scholarship is offset against tuition fee payments due for each academic year of study.
