Professional Practice and Management in Architecture (RIBA/ARB part 3)
This programme of study is prescribed by the ARB and validated by RIBA. It allows students to take a full and active role as an architect and to understand their obligations and responsibilities as a professional to clients, the profession and society at large. This qualification is developed in accordance with the 'Professional Criteria' requirements of the ARB and RIBA for the Part 3 'Professional Practice and Management examination in Architecture. Taught modules and professional experience help students to develop awareness, knowledge, understanding and skills in the professional practice and management of architecture.
Applicants must has successfully competed Royal Institute of British Architects part 1 and 2.
The Postgraduate Certificate stage comprises four taught modules: professional practice and management; project inception; pre-contract studies; post-contract studies. The Postgraduate Diploma comprises two work-based modules: case study; professional experience and development.
