Pure Mathematics

Postgraduate research in pure mathematics covers the areas of lie algebras and group theory. Training is provided through individual supervision of research and by advanced seminars. Research students will benefit from a comprehensive programme of training to develop their research skills and methodologies. An experienced team of academics will offer advice and support on publishing their work in leading international journals and presenting at global conferences. Students will also have an opportunity to engage in international collaborations during their study.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree in a related subject.
