Human Resource Management
Professional accreditation, links and an industry focus make this programme ideal if you are currently involved in human resources or interested in pursuing a career in this area. The programme, jointly validated with the CIPD, provides an opportunity for experienced HR professionals to achieve an academic qualification and the potential to enter into CIPD membership. If you want to specialise in human resource development or training, this is the programme for you. It has compulsory training and development modules and gives you the opportunity to develop your expertise in human resource development through the research and writing of your specialised dissertation.
Applicants should possess a good Honours degree in a relevant subject, an equivalent professional qualification or professional experience.
Modules include leading, managing and developing people; professional practice; human resource management in context; data analysis and financial communications; resourcing and talent management; learning and talent management; research methods in action; managing the employment relationship; performance management; leadership and management development; employment law; strategies for responsible business; dissertation.
All UK or EU students who hold a First or Upper Second Class Honours degree from another institution will receive a 20% reduction in tuition fees when they enrol on a University of Lincoln taught Master's programme. The scholarship is offset against tuition fee payments due for each academic year of study. Please note that the Master of Architecture (Part Two) and MBA programmes are exceptions to this scheme, as other scholarships are in place for those courses.
