This programme provides specialist knowledge in marketing and gives an opportunity for more experienced marketeers to develop their skills and knowledge in an international environment. Marketing is a key management task which, if performed effectively, is capable of making a major contribution to the performance of an organisation. The study of marketing is therefore seen as an important and necessary task for the development of tomorrow's business professionals. Successful completion of this course provides advanced standing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Applicants should possess a good Honours degree in a related subject, or an equivalent qualification.
Modules include international marketing planning; management finance; integrated global communications; transnational corporations and emerging markets; global relationship marketing; export marketing management; cybermarketing; consultancy project; dissertation.
Certificate and Diploma stage modules will be assessed by summative assessment of approximately 4,000 words or equivalent. Key to assessment strategy will be the ability to base an assessment from each of the Masters stages on a �live� company project.
All UK or EU students who hold a 1st or Upper 2nd Class Honours degree from another institution will receive a 20% reduction in tuition fees when they enrol on a University of Lincoln taught Master's programme. The scholarship is offset against tuition fee payments due for each academic year of study.
