Health and Social Care

Research opportunities at MPhil and PhD level exist in the School of Health and Social Care. The School is currently undertaking high-quality health research in a number of areas at local, national and international levels. A central theme of the research activity within the School relates to quality improvement in health and social care. We use a range of methods to investigate aspects of the quality of health and social care to determine how we can improve care provision and evaluate the effects of interventions designed to bring about improvement.

Entry requirements

Applicants should possess a good Honours degree in a related subject. For direct enrolment on a PhD, students are expected to hold a Master's degree with a research component.
